Muay Thai Pad Work

Putting It All Together on the Pads

Pad Work is where your Muay Thai gets sharper, stronger and fitter. You'll drill technique, build power and push your cardio through focused pad rounds, and learn to hold pads properly for your partner. It's a hard-working class, coached with the same no-ego approach as everything at DM Muay Thai & Fitness.

What to Expect in a Pad Work Class

Every round has a purpose: clean technique first, then power and pace.

Technique on the Pads

Punches, kicks, knees and elbows thrown with the right form. The pads give you instant feedback on your accuracy, balance and timing.

Power

Learn to drive power from your legs and hips, not just your arms, so your strikes land harder with less wasted effort.

Cardio

Pad rounds are hard-working intervals. Expect to build your fitness, stamina and ability to hold your technique when you're tired.

Learning to Hold Pads

Holding pads well is a skill of its own, and a big part of this class.

Why Pad Holding Matters

A good pad holder keeps their partner safe, calls realistic combinations and meets each strike properly. It also sharpens your own timing, distance and reactions.

Train Better Together

When everyone holds well, everyone trains better. You'll learn how to feed combinations, keep your position and look after your partner.

Coaching Every Round

Coaches keep an eye on your technique and your pad holding, so you know exactly what to work on next.
